Respected Chief Guest, Esteemed Members of the Management, Honourable Guests, Dear Parents, Dedicated Teachers, and My Beloved Students,
A very warm and gracious evening to you all.
It is indeed a matter of immense pride and gratitude that I stand before you to present the Annual Report of St. Mary’s English Medium School, Barwani for the academic session 2025–2026. Today, as we gather to celebrate our Annual Day, we not only showcase talents but also reflect upon a year filled with learning, achievements, challenges, and collective success.
The year 2025–2026 has been a significant chapter in our journey towards excellence. Guided by the principles and curriculum framework of the Central Board of Secondary Education, our school has continuously strived to uphold high academic standards while ensuring the holistic development of every child entrusted to our care.
Academically, our students have demonstrated commendable dedication and perseverance. Through structured lesson planning, continuous assessments, remedial support for slow learners, and enrichment programmes for advanced learners, we ensured that each student received individual attention. The positive academic outcomes this year are a reflection of the hard work of our students and the unwavering commitment of our teachers.
In alignment with CBSE guidelines and the vision of the National Education Policy 2020, we strengthened experiential learning, art-integrated projects, competency-based assessments, and skill-oriented education. Classrooms were transformed into vibrant learning spaces where curiosity was encouraged and critical thinking was nurtured.
Beyond academics, our students excelled in co-curricular and cultural activities. Debates, quizzes, exhibitions, music, dance, and dramatics provided platforms for creative expression and confidence building. Our Annual Sports Meet and regular physical education programmes promoted discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Participation in various competitions further enriched the learning experience of our students.
Professional development of teachers remained a priority. Our faculty members attended CBSE capacity-building programmes and in-house workshops, ensuring innovative and effective teaching methodologies in the classroom. A motivated teacher creates a motivated learner, and we are proud of our dedicated staff.
Infrastructure development also continued during the session. Smart classrooms, upgraded laboratories, enriched library resources, and enhanced safety measures reflect our commitment to providing a safe and progressive learning environment.
We firmly believe that education extends beyond the school campus. Through social outreach programmes, plantation drives, awareness campaigns, and celebration of national days, our students imbibed the values of responsibility, compassion, and citizenship.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our Management for their constant guidance and support. My sincere appreciation goes to our teachers for their dedication, to our parents for their trust and cooperation, and to our students for their enthusiasm and determination.
Dear students, remember that success is not merely measured by marks or medals, but by character, integrity, and the courage to pursue your dreams. Continue to strive for excellence, remain humble in achievements, and resilient in challenges.
